This movie was all about Rebecca Bloomingdale. She like any other girl enjoyed shopping and nice clothes. Only she like a lot of people had a problem with credit cards. She had no self control over herself and her materialism caused her to buy anything "cute"or "pretty" her eye saw. She spent over $16,000 on clothes and was in debt for a long long time. Even when she knew she had a problem and wanted to pay off that money she still continued to shop with no self control. Rebecca thought clothes were worth more than paying off her debts so that slowed her down. After her friends and family finally found a way for her to earn back the money she spent, she was able to pay off her debt. How did Rebecca pay off all that money? She sold ALL her clothes to people just like her and actually made back all the money. The only thing she kept was the green scarf because she was indeed "the girl in the green scarf" Rebecca had a serious problem and hurt her best friend and those she cared about. This is how we knew she had a serious problem, but with the help of her family she made a full recovery.
