1. Becky Bloomwood is a dishonest person with an addictive personality. Her personality affects her ability to make sound decisions because she will always make the choice thats detrimental to her financial situation. She always has to spend money and have something new.

2. A budget could affect Becky's life in a positive way. She would be more organized and less likely to spend more money on wants and unnecessary accessories. Slowly but steadily, she would climb out of debt.

3.  NEEDS:

  • Money for bills
  • Money to get out of debt
  • Money for food
  • A way of transportation'
  • A stable job

     WANTS:
  • Jewelry
  • New Clothes
  • New shoes
  • A popular fashion job
Becky has an issue with identifying her wants from her needs. She can not stop spending money because she feels she needs the things she wants. I would recommend to her that she cut down on the things she wants first; she already has so much. With the money being spent on useless things, she needs to direct it towards what she needs.

4. Becky lies to all of her bill collectors who come after her. To avoid the embarrassment of her employer finding out that she was in debt, she could have simply just paid off her debt. It would not have gotten to the point where her debt collectors had to call her out on national television.

5. I don't agree with the movies' ending at all. Happy endings do not actually exist, and the way this movie ended would never have happened at all. Becky was called out on national television, and I for one think that she deserved it. There is no excuse for anyone in her age, and with her upbringing to be in that much debt, period. If this was in real life, she would have lost her best friend, the man she loved would have went with that other woman, and she probably would have ended up moving back in with her parents.
