Sam Mulica-Confession of a Shopaholic

3. Becky, from Confessions of a Shopaholic believes she can determine her "needs" from her "wants." This is untrue, throughout the movie Becky has a huge problem with buying things that she already has tons of and aren't necessary for surviving in the world. She is a shopaholic, meaning she buys items that she likes, not that she needs.
NEEDS: Housing, friends, a job, utensils, food, warm clothing, toilet trees etc
WANTS: Extravagant shoes, fancy clothing, the newest styles, scarves, expensive coats etc
Some of Becky's wants could move to her "needs" if she didn't buy tons of that exact same object. Becky's problem is buying things in the same category that she already has clothing in. This makes her closet bust open, full of unnecessary clothes she doesn't even wear.

5. I do agree with how the movie ends and believe its realistic. I don't feel as if Becky would repay Mr. Shneev with all pennies, but that wasn't for realistic-ness but for the enjoyment of their audience. Becky was able to receive a lot of her money back by selling all of her clothes that she didn't need, this helped repay her debt. Not only is she able to repay off her debt but she also gets the guy of her dreams, the guy shes been in love with throughout the whole movie. I loved this movie and thought the ending was very cute.
