I would definitely rather work with one of the sharks. Even though Marcus Lemonis does VERY hands on and in your face work, he just takes away to much equity from YOUR company. With a Shark you can have a first class business partner, but not have to give away half of your company. You could give up only 10 or 20% if you wanted to keep most of the equity. My Product would work with Kevin because it has to do with technology, and Daymond, because it is a coat, and I can use fashion advice.

Minority Report - Jack Reynolds

Pre-Crime as a sign of a totally protective government.

 1. A totally protective government is one that never allows its country or its people to be placed in to any sort of danger. In the movie Minority Report, Pre-Crime takes all of the necessary precautions to keep killers off of the street. Even when one of their own, John Anderton, is convicted of premeditated murder, Pre-Crime does not care, they are a totally protective government and try to arrest him.

2. I believe that a totally protective government should be a part of our society. If this were set in place, no one would ever be in any sort of danger again, we would never have to fear for terrorism, or even hate crimes. It is a sort of utopia.

3. If we had a totally protective government, then many attacks, such as the shooting at borderline bar and grill in Thousand Oaks California just last month. The shooter killed 12 people, and it is just one of the countless mass shootings that has recently happened in America. A totally protective government would prevent this.

  1. An endorsement of technology is the act of giving certain pieces of technology public approval and support. In Minority Report, the Pre-Crime unit was trying to receive an endorsement for their system of precogs from the government, so they could continue to use them to stop future murders.
  2. Yes, I think this term should be used because an endorsement of technology would be beneficial to society. Using technology helps to keep everything organized and takes less time. Before technology, people would have to keep everything on a paper record which was a tedious and risky process, but nowadays, technology allows people to have everything in one place and makes everything so much faster.
  3. Because of the upcoming holidays, there have been many cases of porch pirates stealing Amazon packages that are left on people’s porches. With the help of technology, people would be able to put a camera on their porches which would alert them, or the police, when something is about to be stolen in order to catch and stop the porch pirates.

Cesar Camilo - Shark Tank vs The Profit

Marcus is a better investor because he contributes to the business and helps around the place. He is also spending money out of his pocket because he knows he will get a major return on it. I would rather work with Marcus because he can actually help me with my business and improve my sales. The difference between Marcus Lemois and the Shark Tank is Marcus is there in person solving every problem financially and business that will boost their sales. Shark Tank don’t get the full experience of being in someone's business store. They are only listening to pitches and it’s an easy no or yes. Shark Tank could increase their money if they went to the owners business and fix it around. My choice is Marcus Lemois.

Shark tank vs.The profit- Ayanna King

The Investor that I think is better is Marcus Lemonis because unlike Shark Tank Marcus Lemonis doesn’t just give the developers/ creators money, Marcus is hands-on and helps with the growth of the business and he also improves or helps create a business plan that he thinks would help the company. My own new product is a food delivery app and the investors I would rather work with would be Mark Cuban and Barbara Corcoran because research and statistics state that Mark Cuban is the best investor on shark tank mainly because he is successful with his investments on and off camera and the 3rd most successful business to date that was on shark tank is called Cousins Maine Lobster, which is a food business that was on shark tank; the business was able to grow because of the investment made by Barabara Corcoran, Barbara invested $55,000 in the business and the current net worth of the business is over $20 million in just 6 years. One major difference between Marcus Lemonis and the investors on Shark Tank is Marcus Lemonis tends to ask for 50% ownership and tends to offer a million to a company while the investors on Shark Tank doesn't usually ask for that much ownership of one's company.

Jack Suvari - Shark Tank vs. The Profit

I believe that the format that Shark Tank uses for finding and helping potential businesses is more beneficial to the entrepreneur than The Profit. The shark tank uses a wide variety of sharks to give entrepreneur's the opportunity they need to grow and expand their business. That being said, you have to take into account the types of people  that come onto each show respectively. With the Shark Tank it is typically businesses that are "less established" that will come on and look for help. Whereas The Profit emphasizes more on businesses that have a stable footing in what they are doing and need help getting back onto their feet.

I believe that the best investor is Mark Cuban, I really like his style of investing as well as the way he approaches business. Although he is my favorite I do not believe he would be the best investor for my business. I believe that Robert Herjavec would help out our product the best. His background in the technology sector would be very beneficial to our business.

The biggest difference between the investors on Shark Tank and Marcus Lemonis would have to be how they inevitably help these businesses grow. The sharks use their money and expertise in their fields as "crutches" to the businesses so that they can grow, leaving it up to the entrepreneurs to figure it out. Marcus Lemonis takes a different approach, he, like the sharks, also uses his capital to help support the businesses but he also "gets down to business" and actually helps out in day to day operations so that the businesses that he invests in become profitable.

I like Mark Cuban from from shark tank better than Marcus Lemonis. Mark Cuban seems to be more developed and have more experience in his field than Marcus Lemonis. Also shark tank seems all around better because from the start they are looking to invest. So they are eager to hear about what you can do, and there are multiple investors so you can really find the best fit for your product. I also like how on shark tank, if they don't what they see from the beginning they don't waste their time. However, Marcus Lemonis is also good at what he does because he looks at the company and gets to know who he might be working with. And after everything he invests. Another big difference is Marcus helps businesses that are failing and tries to help them. And shark tank would not invest in failing businesses, they invest is ones that are already doing well, and they make a deal that the person trying to sell their product. And the person selling the product can either take it or leave it. I would work with Mark Cuban because he specializes in sports and my product is a running shoe. I feel like he would be good at sponsoring my product and could assist me well in expanding my product since he is very well known and could help me with my finances. For example, how much I should spend on my shoe and how much I should sell it for.
