In this documentary Alex and Morgan were living the life of the "working poor" for 30 days. They threw away everything and started a life from the beginning, renting an apartment and living all off of minimum wage. The whole idea of the documentary was to show the struggles of living as someone who is classified as "the working poor". People who apart of the "working poor" are people who have jobs and do work, but are only paid minimum wage and are living paycheck to paycheck. These people are working multiple low paying jobs to support themselves but still have barely any money.
