3) Yes, I believe that Alex and Morgan being white absolutely helped them in finding and getting hired at a job, especially as quickly as they did. When getting a job on minimum wage is necessary, how fast you are able to get hired is a matter of life and death, especially if you have children. Had Alex or Morgan been a Person of Color, I doubt that they would have found work as quickly as they had.
